Book Review : Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.

In my view, everyone over the age of 30 should read this book. (When you are in your 20s you think you know it all anyway and you probably wouldnt want to read it). It probably would have saved me about 5 years of heartache if I could have got my other half to read it. She didnt and we got divorced. The book does seem a trifle biased towards the mens side of things. i.e. Men are usually right, women are usually doing it wrong. But as a man, I would have to agree!

EDIT : This is a review I originally wrote on Amazon over 6 years ago. Now I am remarried and my other half won't even read ANY book, let alone this book. Not much heartache yet after nearly 4 years of marriage, but I do worry about the future sometimes.

EDIT 2 : Plenty of heartache now in the midst of the coronavirus lockdown, and a wife who doesn't want to self-improve. Something has gotta give. I just hope it isn't my sanity. Why are some (or even most) people so damn narcissistic, vain, cocky, arrogant, money-grabbing, publicity seeking bitches/bastards! Peace, love and rock and roll I say.

PS : My wife doesn't read my blog either! If she did, I would know about it obviously!

PSS : I just realised both my wives are/were under 30. Maybe I need to be more patient!

EDIT 3 : Got divorced again. And now I've finally met someone truly special or so I hope and believe, someone willing to learn and read (with a gentle nudge) and someone who rarely gets in a mood. Someone who accepts me totally.
