Book Review : The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

'A Killer Twist' it says inside the front cover. Unfortunately that quote spoiled the book rather. Why do they do that? In order to get more sales I suppose and it has sold over a million copies. So.... I was waiting the whole time for the twist to happen. To be honest the first 90% of the book is very slow and fairly forgettable. I have already forgotten most of it. The twist was pretty cool, and if I hadn't known it was coming I think I would have enjoyed the book a lot more. No spoilers please!!! Readers are more sophisticated at figuring things out these days what with so many thrillers on TV and in the cinema.
