(First) Book Review : You Had Me at Hello

I am a little stunned by the great reviews of this book. I didn't find it very easy to get into for starters. Then I found the plot a bit unrealistic. I mean Ben is such a drip really. He behaved so wimpily throughout. A "great man" such as he was supposed to be wouldn't act like that. Also the way that the characters talked to each other. Trying to make every line witty. And they weren't really at all. I laughed out loud once in the whole book. People don't talk like this in real life! If you want to read some good chick lit try JoJo Moyes. Infinitely better in my opinion.
