We went to this place in early summer with a dear friend of ours, and we had a lovely time, although the food was a bit hit or miss!
We sat outside as it was another glorious day. I have to say, I didn't like the sofas with low tables set up. It's fine for having a drink, but a little difficult to eat off, especially with kids!
Nevertheless, being outside is usually nicer in Spain.
The service was fine. Friendly enough. The menus were pretty tatty and could do with a fresh print! Service overall 3.5/5 (I have started using 0.5 in my scores now as sometimes a full round number doesn't quite hit the mark. Literally!)
This is mainly a burger bar. We ordered two burgers and some ribs. My partner said her burger was the best she has ever had! I also had a burger. Not sure if it was the best ever, but it was definitely above average. Our friend had ribs which were really disappointing. They were very dry and tough. Not sure how many days old they were. Ribs should fall off the bone, but these were hard going. Literally! Lol.
The fries were really good. I think I would go here again if in the area, but just stick to burger and chips with a beer and you're laughing. I don't think it should be in the top 100 restaurants as it's more than a bar with fast food, and a mile off fine dining.
Overall rating for food is a decent 4/5.
The ambience wasn't that exciting. It's a very small, narrow place. Maybe in the evenings it's a bit more lively. There was a big empty restaurant right next door which didn't help with the atmosphere. Ambience 2.5/5
Nothing else to say about Munchies. It pretty much does what it says on the tin.
